Nielsen’s MRC Accreditation Good for Adver

Nielsen’s MRC accreditation is currently on hiatus as they conduct a review of their processes. The move was somewhat expected due to the pressure Nielsen was facing from the VAB and TV networks regarding the data and ratings collection process. TV ratings will continue to be produced, reported, and used by networks and advertisers during the hiatus period. A timeline has not been confirmed, but MRC accreditation will remain paused for the time being.

As the only accredited National TV ratings provider, this move with Nielsen further exemplifies the importance and value of having a third-party verification partner. Advertisers should feel confident that they are getting exactly what they pay for and that their media delivery reporting is verified and can be trusted. A Media Auditor brings peace of mind by providing impartial third-party verification and analysis of the core media schedules that advertisers heavily rely upon. No agendas, no self-interests, no students grading their own tests. If you’re interested in having a greater level of confidence in your media buys, let us show you what we do!
